Gained experience in a variety of geographies and commodities from multinationals (Lafarge) and then the junior space since 2007.
Pekka A. Nurmi

Over 35 years of experience in the minerals sector, Pekka was a co-founder of Arvo. Formerly held director and chief scientist positions at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) and Adjunct Professor in economic geology at the University of Helsinki. Involved in the global promotion and exploration of Finland’s mineral opportunities for over 25 years and defining Finland’s mineral strategy, mining law and development of major science and innovation programs. Chair of the Board of the Natural Resources Research Foundation of Finland.
Eeva Ruokonen

Varied experience in the mining and metallurgical industry. Until 2015, Eeva held various management positions (Talvivaara, ABB, Boliden and Outokumpu). Eeva is a member of Endomines’s Board of Directors and chair of the ESG committee (2021-), and a member of Nordic Talc’s Advisory Board (2020). From 2018-24, Eeva was a member of Finnish Minerals Group Oy ‘s Board of Directors and chair of the Corporate Responsibility Committee. The responsibility and ESG of the mining industry are important in Eeva’s work.
Kieran Daly

Kieran has served international mining holding company Assore since 2018 having spent more than 10 years in investment banking at UBS, Macquarie and Investec. Prior to that he spent 15 years at Anglo American plc’s Coal Division (Anglo Coal) in a number of operational and commercial roles. On 1 July 2023, in addition to his role as Executive: Growth & Strategic Development, Kieran was appointed as Managing Director of Assore International Holdings. Kieran represents the company on the board of Atlantic Lithium.
Owen Ryan

Owen has over 35 years of experience in mining and commodities. Earlier roles included Head of Global Mining Research at UBS and Head of Group Business Development at Anglo American plc. Having served on the Boards of both public and private resource companies, brings audit, governance and nominations committee experience in addition to technical and transaction committees. A strong advocate of governance and risk management, Owen offers a keen understanding of the challenges facing early-stage mining companies.
